Feeling crap at 39 weeks

I'm 39 weeks and i'm off on maternity leave and i'm feeling worse than ever, I had great visions of me and DD spending all day together and having a ball and instead I am exhausted all the time despite 10 hour sleeps at night and a 2 hour nap in the middle of the day, I feel lightheaded, my legs feel like jelly and I feel sick most of the time. I end up putting DD in creche most of the time cause I simply can't manage her and then I feel guilty and frustrated that I can't do the things I want to do, i'm taking iron but it doesn't seem to be having any effect. Is this normal or should I go to the doctor (seems a bit excessive when i'm due next week) Help!!

Oh dear,you poor thing.
Sounds like a normal being heavily pregnant thing to me!
I only have one DD and of course when it's your first you can just lie on the sofa all day.Bit tricky with a child to look after the 2nd time.
Not long to go now for you hopefully.Maybe ring your midwife or GP if you are concerned?

How is your iron levels?? I felt really washed out then discovered my iron was 8.6 so no wonder!

I was taking pregnacare but felt it didn't have enough iron when I'm so far on so I started taking pure iron about a week ago, not too bad today, only got lightheaded when I was walking around town, I know I have to take it easy but it's not in my nature to relax and I'm so wound up that I'm booked for a section this day week that my mind is racing.... Really need to relax!!!
