Can I take Rescue Remedy?

Hi everyone,

I really want to take my rescue remedy spray as it always helps me when I'm anxious or stressed (not 100% sure that its not all psychological - but it works so not going to question why!). Is the safe to take in pregnancy? Am 18.5 weeks atm. Do any of you use it at all?

Got lots of stuff going on at the moment thats making me stress and feel anxious (due to exchange and complete on a house on monday, grandad is very ill and my husbands company just announced that his whole division are at risk of redundancy) so really felt the need for a little spray every now and then over the last few days....

Whats your thoughts on using it at this stage??

Thanks

xxx

Yes. It's basically expensive water, so go ahead.

Rescue Remedy is absolutely fine in pregnancy & is often recommended for labour.

Even the drops are fine - the quantity of alcohol getting into your blood stream is minute.

I have used RR loads this pregnancy!

Hope the causes of your stress are eased soon.

I took it before my driving test when I was 19 weeks pg, was told it was fine. Really not very much alcohol involved. Hope you feel chilled very soon.

Yes and - By the way you can use any of the Bach flower remedies in pregnancy.
I was having a very stressful time mid second trimester and got a mix of 6 different flower remedies made up to one remedy specific for the stress I was going through.

I wasn't sure if it would- but really did help!

Yes, definitely. Our pregnancy yoga leader specifically recommended it at our last session.

I've squirted it directly into the mouth of a tantruming toddler, and it seemed to work wonders!

Just be very careful if the pipette is made of glass!

Hi everyone- update on the Bach flowers. I’ve been a consistent user of these flowers especially into my pregnancy as I’m almost in my 7th month. I didnt learn till recently that it has brandy in there as a preservative. What’s everyone perspective on this? I was told by the company its themselves it’s fine as it’s heavily diluted. I take it daily 4x a day 6 sprays. Any thoughts?
