Are flu like symptoms are sign that labour could be on its way?

I'm 39 +4 and have been feeling really fluey for 3 days. I couldn't have actually have caught the flu from anyone as haven't been out so think it must be a viral thing. I just have a sore throat, aches and a bit of a temperature - since it came on i've felt no better or worse. Could this be a sign the baby might come on time or is it just flu??!

I've never heard of flu-like symptoms being a sign of imminent labour. Might be worth a quick call to your midwife though, given you have a temperature. Hope you feel better soon and that your baby comes soon too!
