Any aromatherapists out there?

My newly pg friend (10 weeks) is wondering whether it's okay to use her fave oil in pregnancy - it's rose maroc diluted to 5%. Any thoughts? Or perhaps suggestions of oils that she can use safely?

Hi, I'm not an aromatherapist but a massage therapist specialising in pregnancy.

I believe Rose Maroc should be avoided and in general, your friend should stay away from essential oils unless guided by a qualified aromatherapist.

I can recommend (and use on my pregnant woment) Tui Massage Wax scented with Wild Rose. It's very grounding and uplifting and can be used as a body balm too.

Thanks for the tip, LylaB, she loves rose so I'll let her know about Tui. Is it widely available?

Glad I can help.
I buy it online through www.songbirdnaturals.co.uk/ ... a little bit goes a very long way.

Thanks! Might buy this for another friend, too!
