Advice needed please? Possibly TMI sorry...

I'm 40+1 weeks, have just been to the loo & am bleeding a noticeable amount from my bum. It's not painful & I haven't had piles or constipation. Was wondering has anyone experienced anything similar & should I call my midwife? Any advice would be brilliant please?

Give your midwife a call, it will set your mind at rest.

Call mw or GP for reassurance. But it is possible to have piles, even irritated bleeding ones, without knowing it. Years ago I went to the GP terrified about blood in my stools & she confirmed there was a one there - I'd had no idea.
