maternity leave date and babies due date

Hi all wondered if someone can help me please.

Have just had my 16 week appointment, all went well which im over the moon about.

Have been trying to work out maternity leave dates and each time am left confused by it all.

Midwife today had put my due date at 27th January. I am very unhappy at work due to various reason and so have been planning to leave at the earliest date which i believe is 11 week before babies due date. Can someone please work this out for me as i cant understand it all! Baby brain i think........

And a little more research agrees.

Expected week of childbirth = "the week, beginning with midnight between Saturday and Sunday, in which it is expected that childbirth will occur"

24/01/2010 Expected week of childbirth
11/10/2009 Qualifying week (QW) (15 weeks before EWC)
08/11/2009 Earliest date to start maternity leave (11 weeks before EWC)
