Should i be worried about lack of symptoms..or think myself lucky???

I am pg with dc #3, and apart from being tired and having sore nipples i have almost no symptoms at all, i don't feel like im pregnant!
I did feel sickly last week but that has disappeared now...so now im worrying about the lack of symptoms
Did anyone else have a symptom free pregnancy and everything turned out ok??

How many weeks are you?

I had very few symptoms.

Maybe if you have had two DCs already, you are calm about the pregnancy and have not noticed tiny changes that women who have not been through it before might pick up on. IYSWIM!

My morning sickness always kicked in about 8-10 weeks lasting up to 24 weeks, don't worry too much.

I had very few symptoms in early pregnancy. Like you I felt tired but had no real morning sickness (just felt a little bit nauseous for a couple of days)

About half way through, heartburn kicked in and by the end was really bad. Enjoy having no symptoms while it lasts!

Hi there, I had a totally symptom free first trimester my DS, just tiredness. This was after four miscarriages so it was hell on earth not to have any reassuring (but no doubt horrible for some syptoms) so I know what its like to be hoping for some.

I had no sore boobs, no sickness, dizziness nothing and it worried me a lot but all was fine. My midwife told me its not that uncommon so try not to worry.

The only symptom I had was tiredness. Last pregnancy ended in a MMC, so to have no symptoms again was just horrible, I've never willed myself to projectile vomit down a wall so much in my life but our 12 day old princess is lying in front of me now.. so no symptoms isn't always bad news! Relax and enjoy it

With my DD if I hadn't had a bump I wouldn't have known I was pregnant, right up until she popped out. Having said that, I did have sore boobs for a few weeks in the early days, but that was it. I did think myself lucky!

My only symptoms first time round were tiredness and hunger, same again this time round. DD is two and this one is due in 8 weeks. Try not to worry, lots of women skip morning sickness.

Just posted on a similar thread to this. Am 23 weeks now so hoping everything carries on this way for the full term, but thus far, have had no symptoms at all. Slightly sore boobs, but that is it. were it not for the scans and the ever exanding bump, i wouldn't know i was pg! best of luck!!

Enjoy! I was symptoms-free and in fact given that this pg is after a mc - I was mortified that it was going to happen again. I drove my MW crazy and they referred me to blood work to confirm that my hormone levels were raising... well and then when I hit 7 weeks all hell broke loose. I do not know how I made into my 2nd trimester . Even now I get nauseous every now and then and I am 31 weeks now. So ENJOY!

Im now 38 weeks with my first baby, ive been lucky all the way through my pregnancy, i had no morning sickness and was a little bit tired at the beginning but the worst thing ive had is a bit of heartburn every now and then which isnt really that bad.
Im fed up now and just want to have my baby and cant wait until she is here!!

I read somewhere that about 45% of pregnancies do not cause morning sickness, if this is any help

hi there I had no morning sickness whatsoever, if it hadn't been for the fact we were trying to get pregnant I could have gone through most of the 1st trimester and not known that I was!! I gained no weight, in fact I lost about half a stone, I was a little tired at the end of the first 12 weeks but only a little, sore boobs didn't kick in till 2nd trimester (but wow they're like sore rocks now am in the 3rd!!) and I never did get any sickness (well, so far... am 28 weeks now). I was very glad of the scans I can tell you, to see there WAS actually something in there! I then got diagnosed with diabetes at 15 weeks (they don't know yet if it will go after pregnancy...) and started expanding suddenly at 20 weeks - have a big tree-trunk belly/torso now and get heartburn/tiredness/diabetic hypos/insomnia/aching belly at night and 'the weepies' out of the blue, so enjoy having absolutely no symptoms while you can!

Thanks everyone...i am really bloated..i have a bump the size i was with ds1 at about 4 month but apart from the tiredness and sore boobs theres nothing...maybe i am going to just be lucky and bypass the sickness
Roll on 12 weeks scan!!

Fifisboys - think yourself lucky!! I have been off work now for 3 months with morning sickness... it has been awful and am now only just starting to feel better but now I have back problems.

As my mum keeps reminding me she had no morning sickness or problems in pregnancy so I think you are just lucky.

Fingers crossed it stays that way for you.

Hi i am nearly 7 weeks pregnant with my second child. I am also worried as i don't really feel any different at all. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks last nov and didn't have any symptoms then either, now i am so worried the same thing is going to happen again. i suppose i am more tired than normal but i don't know if i'm imagining it,i am weeing more and i have slightly achey boobs but not as much as a few weeks ago. Can't for the life of me remember what i was like with my 1st pregnancy, can remember been sick a few times later on but then again i didn't find out i was pregnant with her until 9 weeks.

With my first pregnancy the only symptom I had was sore boobs for the first few weeks. After that, it was only because my bump was growing and we saw the baby on the scans that made me believe I was pregnant.

When waiting for my 12-week scan in the waiting room I remember almost passing out with nerves as I was convinced that they would tell me it was a phantom-pregnancy or something, as the only reason I thought I was pregnant was the 4 BFPs I had got!!!

Just found out on Tuesday that I'm pregnant with #2 so waiting to see if I get any symptoms this time. Only 4+4 at the moment so early days!

I had pretty strong symptoms with my 2nd pg and it turned out at 12 week scan I'd had a mmc... however my friend was virtually symptom-free and used to worry about it, however she's due end of sept and all's well.

so try not to worry, I think there are huge variations from person to person and from pg to pg.
