Hi. I found myself very unexpectedly pregnant with my 4th baby - especially as i have had a mirena coil in place for 4 yrs. As i havent had any periods for 3 yrs whilst using coil, they reckon i am/was approx 5 wks gone. Unfortunately the coil couldnt be found and i had to have a scan to locate it. advice given to me was that it was best to have it removed, which i did, but am now experiencing a heavy bleed, which i suspect is a miscarriage. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does the bleeding last for?
