What is the latest age you should see a heartbeat at scan?

I am planning a scan soon and really need to know the latest age one should be visible.

I think 7 weeks - although I am sure someone will be along who knows more - and good luck.

Yeah - unless your dates are wildly out you should see one by 7 weeks.

I saw the heartbeat at 9 weeks which was rather cool. Its an amazing experience.
