TGA

Hi everyone,

My baby has just been diagnosed with TGA transposition of the great arteries.

He will have to be born at St Thomas's hospital in London to make sure he has all the heart specialist available, and i will have to be induced to make sure that i am there.

My son will have to have heart surgery at about one week old, as you can imagine i am very anxious at this time and trying to explain this to 3 other children is quite difficult.

Has anyone else been through something similar or know much about TGA some stories of success or anythinf positive would be really great at the moment.

Hi, i'm afraid I have no experience to offer but I wanted to bump you back up the list. Hopefully some one with something useful to say will be along soon.

This is obviously a horrible thing for any family to go through, stay strong xx
