I was planning to work right up until I drop, but at my 32 week appointment yesterday, the midwife suggested I stop work in the next fortnight or so, if not sooner, as I look so tired.
My boss has said I can cut back my hours, work from home, and use holiday days to make life easier, plus I'm getting free 1st class travel upgrades on the train (when it's running, and the operators aren't on strike...), so I don't feel like it's such a big deal to keep working. Once I'm working from home I can have a nap at lunchtime, plus won't have the commute to exhaust me. Also, I had a day off yesterday (for midwife appt!) and nearly went out of my mind with boredom by lunchtime. I actually did some work even though I was on holiday!
I'm not sure what to do though. Did anyone else have this advice from their midwife? if so, what did you do?
