Folic Acid - should I stop taking it now?

Hi all,

just a quickie... have had my '12' week scan today and have been measured at 12.4. All lovely and beautiful and gorgeous baby, so I am very relieved (and just a tiny bit excited)! Should I stop taking folic acid now? Forgot to ask!

Well you can do, but it won't do any harm to keep taking it either!

After 12 weeks I replaced folic with a pregnacare multi vitamin which does have folic in it but also has lots of other good stuff too.

20 weeks now with DC2. Took pregnacare throughout pregnancy & BFing DS1 and will do the same again to keep immune system in best possible shape with all this doom and gloom over swine flu.
