Have any of you used DEEP HEAT in pregnancy? For restless legs.

Gp said it's ok.

But she couldn't see it in her 'book' she checks the medicine in.

I am suffering from awful restless legs at bedtime, before I go to sleep. The only thing that helps is paracetamol.

When I was pg with DC1 I was advised not to use Deep Heat for back pain, but that Deep Freeze was OK. However, that was a couple of years ago and advice may have changed. Is it better than paracetamol?

Presumably the book was British Pharmacopoeia.

I seem to remember it said on the tube not to use it without doctor's advice when I had a sore shoulder last time round - have you looked at the packaging?

princessmel · 20/07/2009 13:40

She has just rung to say that actually they advice against using it!

Oh well.

Hi there

I too get restless/hot legs and Pharmacist said Antistax is fine It is a cooling leg gel and if you put it in the Fridge it is great!

Good luck
