Are mouth ulcers are recognised side effect of pregnancy?

Because I have tons of them on my tongue and they're flipping painful..

oh and does bonjela normally make your breath smell horrible? (don't think I have a gum infection as my breath doesn't stink if I don't use the bonjela)

Yes - your immune system is depressed. Skip Bonjela and go get some Corsodyl Mouthwash - only use it for five days and don't swallow it obviously but it will clear them right up. Sometimes in just a day. Tastes like crap though!

Bad breath can sometimes be caused by a throat infection or tonsillitis - have a look at the back of your mouth.

Can't be tonsilitis - got no tonsils

I don't think I have a throat infection, no pain at all. And my breath doesn't stink when I haven't taken the bonjela, only just after. It's a bit like morning mouth. Not nice.

Go for the mint one, the original one really is boaktastic!
