Feeling a bit odd after GTT this morning - is this normal?

Just had a repeat GTT as the one 3 weeks ago was high normal. Last time I felt really tired afterwards but basically ok once I had eaten. This time I feel really odd - my hands are shaking a bit and my heart feels like it's racing. I have eaten about an hour ago but still feel very strange. Does anyone know if this is normal?

I felt a bit "spinny" after mine. Think it was fasting for so long and drinking a shed-load o warm lucozade. Would contact MW/doc if you feel really ill. Mine improved when I ate a savoury meal a couple of hours afterwards.

I was exactly the same after both my GTT's. It really is horrible, but like babyball suggests - have a good starchy meal...bread, pasta or something. Also drink lots of water, that helped with me.

Also go and lie down
