Hi everyone

I'm 15 and a half weeks pregnant with identical twins, who will be my first children.

I was hoping to meet some other mums who might be due around this time. I'm officially due 2nd Jan but there's little chance of that happening!

I'd love to hear from you.

Hi there

I'm 15 weeks and 1 day pregnant with non-identical twins. Also my first pregnancy and I'm due Jan 4th (although like you, I suspect it may be earlier!).

Scary isn't it!!

Whereabouts are you? I'm Richmond, sw London, hospital is Kingston.

Hi Pebble!

It's great to 'meet' someone else at the same time as me... I felt like I was the only one in the world! Oh, by the way, I'm all the way in Melbourne, Australia.

Yes, having twins is a scary idea, and I think it's only just starting to dawn on me what the next 4 months will bring. It's really only about that much time left, as my doctor thinks I'll go before Christmas. Up until 12 weeks I felt like time was going backwards but now, at 16 weeks, it's suddenly taking off and I realise I have a lot to organise.

We had a scan yesterday - I'm lucky, my dr has an ultrasound in his room so whenever I visit him, I get to see them - and we found out we are having identical boys. It's weird because I knew from about 6 weeks that they were boys, i was completely convinced. My husband is absolutely elated as he now has his own little soccer team (sorry, I mean football!) and he's so proud. Although it does leave the door open to try for a girl... but seeing as we conceived these ones naturally, the odds of having another set of multiples is higher than average!

So are you feeling big? I've been in maternity pants for about 4 weeks now, and I feel really 'pregnant'. I'm back at work on Monday after 4 weeks off and I haven't told anyone there yet. They'll die when they see me!

Have you thought about prams? The reason I got on to this site was because I was following a conversation about the iCandy Pear, which I quite like the look of. It's not sold in Australia, so I was thinking of ordering one. It's so hard as I can't actually see one. Have you seen them?

Sorry to bombard you! It's just so nice to hear from someone else in this situation. Hopefully I'll hear from you again.

take care
