I'm 27 weeks and it's becoming quite uncomfortable down there.
I was awoken at 01:45 last night and again at 03:00 by movement and I was concerned that the baby was moving in a distressed way in my half asleep-ness.
I've read that they're only awake for 3 hours of the day but mine was awake a lot longer yesterday as a whole..

Is it normal for the baby to actively kung-fu the womb?

Is it normal for me to be worried about this?
Grateful for any advice!

My DD was constantly wriggling when I was pregnant with her - in fact, I had to jump up and down when having my scan to get her stop doing somersaults! It was v uncomfortab le.

And she was awake a lot longer than 3 hrs too.

She is now a very active and healthy 3.8yr old.

I don't think there is a normal way to be for a baby. Like adults they are all different. If you are worried, why don't you just give your midwife a call. They don't mind (it is their job afterall) and it will put your mind at ease.
