Tests are best done first thing in the morning aren't they?

Depends on how far on you are and if you've drunk lots of fluids today. But yes, best done in the morning.

Although with my ds I had a neg in the morning and positive at 5pm.

It's best to wait till the morning - or otherwise don't have anything to drink for 3 hours and then test.
