Pain at 28 weeks - normal or not?

rubyslippers · 12/07/2009 16:56

I am 28 weeks PG with DC2

have been getting intermittent pain/discomfort on the bottom right hand of my bump as well as all across the top

Laying on my side seems to make it worse

For the last 2 hours or so the pain has been constant at the top of my bump

baby is moving (A LOT) and have been having BH as well

Something to bother the labour ward with or not?

TIA

If you are worried it is always worth giving labour ward a call for personalised advice.

Is the intermittent pain associated with BHs?

rubyslippers · 12/07/2009 17:13

the pain is separate from the BH

That is perhaps less concerning. I would probably ring the labour ward if it was me.

If they can they will reassure you over the phone without going in

rubyslippers · 12/07/2009 17:22

i think i will call labour ward

Lulu would deffo advise that

thanks

PerfectPrefect · 12/07/2009 19:49

any news?

i am assuming she has gone iin for assessment?

rubyslippers · 12/07/2009 21:02

have been to hospital

good news in that baby is fine BUT there is an issue which is probably related to my colitis and i will need some more checks

dosed up on painkillers at the mo - may or may not give work a miss tomorrow but will see how i feel
