How did you tell your ex DP that your pregnant?

Hey All,

Just looking for some advice. I've got to tell my ex DP that I'm pregnant with my new DP, weve told my DD and I know she won't be able to keep schtum so need to pre-warn him as it were. I'm thinking he would find it difficult to take and be happy for us but he has moved on and is with a new partner himself.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Don't really see that it needs to be a big deal tbh. Just tell him you are expecting and you are only telling him as it means his daughter is getting a sibling.

I told mine on the phone,i knew the other dc would tell him. He was fine.

In fact his wife has just had a baby too

Don't make an issue of anythiing and it won't become one.

We are both very careful to call the step brothers/sisters just brother and sister. They are and should be treated as such.
