Had dental work today (anaesthetic) and just found out pregnant again! Need to worry.....?

I just foud out I'm pregnant for the second time -!!!!!!!!!!!! - today, but I also had a filling carried out this afternoon at the dentist with anaesthetic. I know it's probably fine but there's no danger with that, is there? Can anyone advise? Thanks...

Dont worry I had 2 tooth extractions, oral xrays and antibiotics a few days before getting my BFP, I am now 32 weeks pregnant with twins and no problems

The work is carried out away from baby so doesnt have an effect

I'm 20wks and had a filling today. The dentist knew and gave me aneasthetic so guess it's safe.
Dentist just said its xrays and silver fillings that have to be avoided.
Saying that before ultrasound they used xrays on pg mothers if there was a problem.

the anaesthetic will not have done any damage - i had a root canal when I was 8 weeks and my dentist knew. It is fast acting anaesthetic and does not pass through the placenta apparently.
But yr filling - if it was a white filling thats ok but the silver ones are apparently not recommended during pregnancy due to the type of chemicals.

PS pity you didnt find out before going to the dentist as you get free dental care when you are preg!
