One weeks complete rest ..... do doctors orders get any better than this?

I didnt know they still prescribed 'rest' i feel like a 1950's housewife.

Doctor in a&e said I had anaemia (hb is now a crap 9.2) and need to rest up for a week before returning to work. Midwife said same and wrote it in notes as proof for employer.
havent even been on MN today, just feet up watching tv, went out for a short stroll, lovely

Despite what you may have been told, pregnancy and childbirth haven't really changed all that much in several millenia the last fifty years. If you need to rest, you need to rest.
