Maternity trousers in a colour other than black

I'm trying to find some maternity trousers for work & can only seem to find black ones. Does anyone know of anywhere I can get any reasonably priced maternity trousers which are another colour. I'm getting frustrated trawling the internet.

When I was pregnant last year H&M had natural coloured linen trousers and Dorothy Perkins had smart grey trousers, as did M&S. Not sure what's available this year. TBH, once I got really big I found all trousers really uncomfortable and just wore tents dresses.

I got some nice chocolate coloured linen ones from JojoMamanBebe - definitely smart enough for work. Think they were about £30.

dorothy perkins and mothercare do jeany-type trousers, but they're not really practical for smart occasions or for work.

I have some normal person cotton trousers with an elasticated waist that went all through my last pregnancy. Hoping they'll do the same this time, but this will be a winter baby not a summer one so guess they'll be in the attic come the autumn.

Have you looked in Mothercare? I got 2 pairs linen trousers which are smart enought for work, one stone and one grey/brown (slightly odd colour but I like it). However they did have a sale a couple of weeks ago so not sure if they'll still be in?

i've found all maternity high st ranges severely lacking so far in anything remotely interesting or fashionable (at this rate I'll be in tracky bottoms for months!) and ranges like jojo maman bebe are too expensive for me... New Look do some nice dark indigo straight maternity jeans which I'm pleased with, they were £25, and they had cropped and flared trousers in different colours and materials last week. Ebay is sometimes useful as well? I got a fab jojo maman...khaki maternity shirt/safari style kneelength dress which would have been about £60 in the shops for £4 approx recently! It looks fab as well, no flaws, I will be wearing it stomping around Brighton with flip flops shortly before the heat lays me out I'm not working in an office though as you can tell! Have you looked in Next?

I'm trying to avoid linen as the creases drive me insane. Thanks for the suggestions. I was starting to think it would be jeans & black trousers for the rest of my pregnancy. Do these companies think pregnant women don't go to work or something.

I bought maternity trousers at H&M - it was winter, so I got cord, but they were green, not black.

I just got a pair of grey pinstripe smart trousers from mothercare - very comfy - like you I was getting fed up with wearing black!

try peacocks as well as they had other coloured trousers - i got a pinkish colour

Gap maternity - saved me from a summer of black, linen and florals last year!

The trouble is I'm in Germany so restricted to the internet for UK shops & everything I liked on Mothercares site said it wasn't available on line & Gap don't have a UK website. Hadn't thought of Peacocks as it's a shop I generally avoid but will check their website. I'm planning a shopping trip back in England if I can find somewhere where enough shops have a decent maternity range to make it worthwhile.

Look at skirts as well - much cooler.

Try Seraphine.com. I think they have a sale on but prices may be too much. I got a pair of reasonably priced jeans from there for my last pregnancy and got lots of compliments on the cut (looked more expensive than they were!). They do some non black trousers.

It's infuriating isn't it - this is my third baby and I have never seen such a limited range of clothes both on the high street and online. Apparently if one is pregnant one must wear jeans, combats or black trousers and nothing else at all ever.
That doesn't help you very much, does it! But you are not alone.

I think the maternity ranges are all appalling! I've only just started buying stuff and struggling to find anything stylish.
