hay fever and cough

Pregnant and have hay fever. GP gave me nasal spray and eye drops which started to work but now i have very itchy throat and constant cough. Can any one help me what kinds of treatment i try or any home remedies?

I had the same problem few weeks ago.My GP gave me a cough syrup call "simple lintus",but i used light hot water mixed with some crushed ginger and honey.It works very well. may be this will help you.

My GP advised me to gargle nothing else. I drank ginger tea for a few days but it did not helped.
