I was sterilised 12 yrs ago but feel pregnant as I feel queasy in the morning and my breasts feel tender - also weeing more. I wm only 3 weeks into my cycle so a pregnancy would be very early. My tubes were cut and cauterised when I was 30 yrs old. Is it poss???

Yes, I'm afraid so.

Depending on the method used I have read that sterilisation can fail in as many as 1 in 200 cases.

Of course, your hormones are capable of doing all sorts of things that could make you feel the way you do, and as you say it would be very early to feel pregnant already. Or a virus could make you feel a bit off.

The only way to find out is to wait a few days and test. If you are pregnant, please go to see your GP asap as there is a higher risk of an ectopic pregnancy if you conceive after sterilisation.

I hope you get the result you want.
