Trying to get into GP re Whiplash injury incurred on Monday. Paracetomol not doing trick. is there anything else I can take in pregnancy?

icepack on the neck immediately would have been good - now you could consider seeing an osteopath/chiropractor, as physiotherapists usually have a massive waiting list.

How pregnant are you? You could try obtaining some white tiger balm and using that on your neck - it seems to be safe in pg in small amounts and whilst there are suggestions that excessive use of it might cause camphor to enter the blood stream (it can cross the placenta) there is no evidence that it will have an adverse effect on the baby at that level. Vicks VapoRub contains camphor at similar levels and that is not contraindicated in pg.
