To cut a long story short I'm 33 weeks pregnant and have been 'let go' by my work, with no likely-hood of maternity pay because my contract ends before mat leave was due to start. Everything aside (and yes, I am contesting this and seeking advice) I'm worried about the effects of stress on my unborn child. Is there anything you can recommend? Also, I have a GP appt tomorrow and I'm going to ask her to sign me off work until my contract ends (July) Do you think she will?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

The contract is a renewable one, that I assumed would be renewed - they usually are.

Sorry to hear about your job. It's hard to tell what your GP will do... But to destress - how about antenatal yoga?

Thanks. I've never done yoga before - I'll look into it. Although if it involves over a certain amount of money, I might have to leave it.
