Hello

I am 5/6 weeks pregnant and have noticed that my gums are a bit sore and my tongue seems dry and has small lumps near the back. This probably sounds very random but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

Thank you

You know that you are entitled to free NHS dental treatment throughout pregnancy and up to a year after your baby's birth so it may be worthwhile popping to see a dentist (if you can find an NHS one). Pregnancy can affect gums so it's best to get it checked.

Congratulations by the way.
