Advice needed please......

I'm 18.5 wks and have been having period like pains. I had them a lot during the first 12 wks and was told they were normal growing pains, but was also told they don't happen in the 2nd trimester. I'm still getting them. Has anyone else had these at 18 weeks or know what they are?

It is quite common to get stretchy type pains at around 6 weeks and again at around 20 weeks. (Esp if 1st pregnancy). If you're not getting any bleeding then probably all fine. Your MW should be able to reassure you if you're worried.
