I know it sounds dull, but paracetemol and hot lemon and honey... it really did make me feel better. but not just a little mug of it, I got through alot - about 3 lemons worth in one day.

and heavy on the honey :-)

Today I had a horrible raw throat again, and took Gelsenium 200cc homoeopathic remedy, but I knew it was the right one for me, might be worth 5 minutes at ABChomoeopathy
abchomeopathy.com/go.php
on their software to see if you can come up with the right remedy for you.

This this evening the throat has gone (it's night here).

Good luck!

Tincture of echinacea - try and find one with a reasonable concentration of the root and less of the flower. Works wonders for me every time I have a cold (and I checked it out when PG and it seemed to be fine).

Hi,

I have cold just now too so lots of sympathy your way!

Before I had DS last Nov, I had a cold around 38 weeks too and it really did help just to take paracetamol(which I hated doing but in the end had to) and as Jack suggests hot lemon and honey to ease throat. Again like Jack I drank loads of it and it did make a difference.

Hope you feel better soon and good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy.

If you are worried about anything just ring MW or Labour Suite and they will give you some advice too.
