Strange urges in Pregnancy?

I know this sounds like im off my trolley but I just wondered if anyone else has had any strange urges/cravings during pregnancy? I ask this as I'm 31 weeks and for the last month have had the urge to lick a dirty potatoes
It has peeked today and it's driving me up the wall can't stop thinking about it. I must add that Haven't given in (yet).
Has anyone else felt like this or am I going Mad

It's called pica, and there's something about pica in pregnancy here . It's not unusual!

Just occasionally, pica can be a sign of underlying physical or mental illness

Hehehe, in some of us it might be difficult to tell the difference!

Ask your midwife, if you're worried, but it really is quite common. Lots of women get cravings to eat coal.
