did a pg test this afternoon after my period was due yesterday but didnt turn up!!

and got a faint BFP!!!!

will be due about jan 16th, dd's due date was jan 20th....very weird! so got pg around the same time in the same month!

Happens more often than you'd think - I know a couple of families where a child is born on an older sibling's birthday. And one of my uni friends has never forgiven his mum for leaving his 4th birthday party to go and have a baby!

Lilsmum, Wonderful wonderful news. Like LGJ - have already caused upset with my views of smoking, so will tread carefully, but this is the 1st sacrifice of many that you'll need to make for your child. I too smoked before I was pg with my 1st child (albeit occasionally). I gave up as soon as I started IVF treatment and haven't touched one since. I have had the odd pang over the last few months, but I wouldn't go back now. So, please go cold turkey and give your baby the best start in life.

Again, Congrats. It is lovely to read your news.

Congratulations. (Another child to take to Clarks!!! ). My dh's birthday is 18/2 and his sister is 19/2. We often joke it was his dad's once a year birthday treat!!
