Help! I'm really confused!I have a positive pregnancy test and a period!!

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this mystery-my period was due on Monday, still hadn't arrived by Wednesday, so I did a test-very faint positive. I was upset in the afternoon though when my period seemed to start-spotting, but then properly heavy on Thursday and Friday. It is hardly there again today-only when I wipe.
I did another test just now, as I feel pregnant and it has come up positive again. Actually a stronger line than on Wednesday.
I had an implantation bleed for a week with my daughter, but this seemed like a proper heavy period for 2 days. Do you think the positive test could be a residual from a chemical pregnancy?

if i were you i would call your gp and ask for a blood test. i bled from 5w-20w when pg with ds, however i also had something v simillar when i had my ep. good luck and congrats!

Hope all is well and it could of course be implantation or hormonal bleed. However - and I don't say this to upset you - I had this situation with my ep. I did also have pain, so if you get any pain, please go to A&E before Monday. They would check your blood hcg every 48 hrs to check it goes up appropriately. Much more likely all is fine, congratulations and good luck
