Maternity support stockings

This is my 2nd pregnancy and I'm suffering from very painful and unsightly varicose veins in my right leg. I've been told to use support stockings but can only find flight socks. Will these do? Grateful for any suggestions

you can get maternity support stockings prescribed from the doctor. I have no idea where to buy them but was given a prescription the other day as my feet and ankles have been swelling.

I guess that mean you may be able to just buy them over the counter from the chemist as they should have them in stock for prescription but....

Just ask your doctor, then at least they will be free!

Thank you mrswee - I'll do just that
