itchy skin

hello

just after some advice the last 3/4 days i have really itchy arms and legs with like heat bumps, they itch so badly that i've made the bumps bleed.

im 32 weeks, any one got advice on what to do or use???

poor thing - I think you need to talk to your GP or midwife to rule out obstetric cholestasis

but unless your palms/ soles itch too don't panic too much - I've had it in both pregnancies adn it wasn't OC either time - tho it drove me mad! It came and went - no logic to it....

well thanks for the advice i have rang my midwife they are coming out just to check the baby is ok and take some blood to make sure.

im hoping its just something that will go away.

Could be OC - but tbh if you have a rash it is unlikely (unless the rash is just dry skin from scratching too much).
I've had OC twice, and the most important thing to remember about it is that once diagnosed it is manageable. If they are taking bloods (they should do LFT's and bile acids) they are obv. taking you seriously, so don't worry. For the itching, keepyour skin moisturised with a very simple lotion rather than thick cream, and keep as cool as possible. If it's not OC then piriton may help. Good luck.
