How likely is it really? I have a 10w.o. and have not been taking precautions .... but figured am likely not to get pg if bf. Perfectly happy to get pg again but doctor said should wait at least 4 months ........

I got pg whilst tandem feeding DD1 & DD2! Obviously got pg whilst feeding 1st time round as well if tandem feeding .

Took 5 months of trying for DD1, 1 month for DD2 and 1 month for DC3. I seem to be MORE fertile whilst feeding than when I'm not.

If you absolutely don't want to become pregnant just yet, use some type of back up. Exclusive breastfeeding is good, but it is not 100%...so there will always be a chance, even if a small one. Plenty of women are surprised to find they are pregnant again with a 3 month old. Keep in mind that you ovulate before a period, so you may not even have that return as a sign.
