Hi all,
Just wondered how you felt 2nd time round? First time i felt ill and drained the whole 9 months, was sick everyday for 3 months then just randomly until the end. I had awful stretching aches and pains and definately felt pregnant!

This time i feel fine apart from tiredness and i do feel lucky as i know how bad some have it! But can't help worrying and wondering if i am actually pregnant lol! The main thing really is that im not having those stretching pains i got last time. The cramping etc. I hope it is growing?! Did anyone else not feel the cramping stretching pain and all was well?

Will i ever stop worrying lol...thanks for reading

Don't worry you're normal! I think you're remembering how you felt at the end and maybe not how you were at the beginning? How far along are you?

With ds 2 I was much bigger much earlier but as my skin had done the stretching I was fine with no aches and pains until right at the last few weeks.

This time I am knckered all the time, my back aches sitting/standing most of the time and I am enormous once again.

with ds1 now 16 months i felt tired, sicky at the start and very achey at the end but what was worse for me was the allergis - i had a permanent cold from about 8 weeks until delivery.

this time round with ds2 (now 22+4) i feel fine! and that is chasing around a little monkey all day too! i also forget that i have another little boy growing inside of me but i guess its just your bodies way of remembering what its done before.

with my first pregnancy i had quite bad morning sickness, fainting spells, really really really sore boobs.

but second time i had no morning sickness, no faintness and no sore boobs! i was quite worried by it at the time but i think it is quite normal.

maybe its because your body is more used to the pregnancy hormones second time? i really dont know.

and i have two girls so it was nothing to do with babys gender either!

congratulations btw

iamamummy - a remember the chasing round of my 15/16/17 month old earlier in this pregancy as if I wasn't pregnant at all!

Life is tougher now though but at least the end is in sight!

I know how you feel. I am 15 weeks prenant and still don't feel any different. With my last pregnancy my consultant discovered I had a 17cm tumour attached to my fallopian tube so it felt like I was never out of the hospital. This time I'm not seeing my mw until 20 weeks now (last saw her at 12 weeks) I just feel so glad that everything is going so smoothly

I am nine weeks pg with my second and my pg has been (up to now) like a carbon copy of the first. With more whining and wailing from me as I am so tired with a 2yo to look after, and she cries when I am sick, so that's fun.

Oh no pinkjenny, sorry to hear your having a rough time of it!
Brilliant to hear others say they feel fine and all is well!! Thanks guys. Maybe it is ok then. Maybe its true that our bodies are used to the hormone now.
Only 3 or 4 weeks til my scan, will be able to relax after that hopefully!
Thanks
ps-thanks for the congrats
