back to back babies ,would this have any implication for homebirth?

Both of my previous babies were back to back although DD did turn the right way as she came down the birth canal (ouch!) in a sort of corkscrew motion. What are the chances of having another back to back baby and does it really make a difference to the delivery ?

Not sure how things would go after TWO births this way, but I had a homebirth second time around and first 'back to back' birth was not even a consideration... At least not discussed with me.

I have no idea what the chances are of another b-t-b delivery, sorry, but all I can say is that if you do have baby facing the way they should it will feel like a torpedo in comparison!

Good luck! (And if you're going for homebirth think about a pool - best thing I ever did)

Well, my second started off in roughly the right position and turned as he was coming out, so he was delivered OP.

They told me it slowed down the second stage by about fifteen minutes (took 30)

That was at home. You can't always tell what a baby will do iygwim!

and it was a 3.5 hour labour which meant nobody had a chance to reassess the plan!
