Grim at 14 weeks

Just wondering if this is normal, as I don't remember feeling this grim with ds.

The morning sickness went at about 11 weeks, but I'm 14 weeks and feel, well, just pants. I'm a bit tired, a bit queasy, a bit back-achey, a bit twingey, a bit head-achey, just a bit bleughhh all round .

Nothing major in any way, but I feel like I'm being slowly poisoned. I'm eating and drinking fine, a dating scan at 10.5 weeks showed everything was fine (although 3 mcs means that I'll never properly relax) and I was wondering if other feel like this once the morning sickness had passed.

I didn't expect to be wonder-woman but not this wiped out!

I felt much worse with no.2 if that's any consolation - first time round you're not running round after anyone all the time... Haven't really any advice, but try not to do too much (as if!) and ride it out. It's all about making it to the day you meet your LO and then you can start to feel normal again.

I felt horrible that I wasn't enjoying it second time around, especially after we'd spent 6 years TTC with no.1, and no.2 was just such an unexpected miracle, but it's always ok to feel a bit sorry for yourself!

Good luck...

I feel exactly the same ! i'm 14+1 and i had about a week about week 9 where i felt ok ( no sickness etc )
The last few weeks i've been feeling a bit headachy sniffly achy and just fed up and not right .
The only way i'm dealing with it is managing to get a nap in the afternoon
Even after a nap i dont always feel better sometimes worse but today i feel better .
My midwife says i've just gotta stick it out i might start feeling better soon or i might feel like this all the way through !
I felt absolulty fine with dd1 but had sickness and allsorts with the pregnancy , i've also had 2 mc's .

I had morning sickness until Week 12 and then it went away. It then came back with a vengence between Weeks 14 and 16. I didn't feel properly right again til Week 17. So I think it is normal for it to come and go like this.

Thanks for the replies, it means a lot to hear others say 'me too' .

I thought that I'd feel better as I'm not working at the moment and ds still has an afternoon nap, meaning that I sometimes get one too. But I agree tink08 that sometimes you feel worse after.

Here's hoping that I start blooming soon !
