Should I postpone the wedding until after the baby? I went to a dress maker today and she reassured me I could still look great on the day. It is my first pregnancy and i am older and already size 12-14.

you will look beautiful with a little bump -and will feel very special indeed whatever size the dress.

I got married at 18wks, it was lovely. I had an empire line dress and the bump wasn't really noticeable. Worst case scenario - hold flowers over the bump for the photos! Having a baby and trying to organise a wedding is not something I'd readily take on (dd is 11wks now and I'm not getting a lot of sleep!)Anyway, congrats on wedding and baby!

I got married at 22 weeks and, yes you could tell i was pregnant but if i don't say so myself, I loved the most beautiful i ever have. It was lovely knowing baby was there too and he kicked throughout the vows which was wonderful.

The only downside was after the meal i was tired and uncomfortable and drove home to stick some jogger bottoms on!!!

It was wonderful though and to echo hoochymama, you will be tired after baby comes along.

Congradulations to you, hope everything goes well and you have a wonderful marriage!

I also got married at 21 weeks, but I went abroad so was able to wear a less formal wedding dress. I guess it depends on how big/formal you want your day.
I love my photos as the three of us were definitley there!

Amateur! I got married at 33 weeks pg. No problems. I think I looked pretty fab, actually , and so will you!! Definitely do it now, as you will be too busy with your baby afterwards. Good luck, and congratulations (on both counts)!

I was 26 weeks when I got married. I wore this. Grew out of it the following week, I think will power kept the bnump size down!

this reminded me that when we got married I was not pregnant, actually dropped from a size 18 to a size 10 and wore a beautiful dress and STILL got a card from someone congratulating us on starting a family (??) :D

Go for it and enjoy the day, you'll find a dress that will look fab on you.
