DS has just thrown a huge tantrum and said some awful things .
I have been having strong braxton hicks all day and feel pants .
I have just bollocked DH and DS for bickering with each other .
Now I have just made DH go out because he is sat with a face like a slapped arse and I got annoyed because I had an awful pain and it made me yell out and he just carried on watching TV .
I know I get it I am been a whiny unreasonable bitch but I can't take much more of this I am 39+6 have been having BH since last week and according to MW it is because baby is back to back .
Feel like an idiot not knowing if I am in labour or not they get really strong then just vanish just want to cry .

Bless you.

It's hard to be reasonable and rational when you're 1 day off your due date.

Take a deep breath, have a cup of tea and a nice bath, and see how you are feeling in an hour or so.

littlelamb · 23/05/2009 18:08

If it's any consolation, the day I had ds I had the most almighty hissy fit at a salesman in the street It's hormonal and probably a sign things are imminent

Fizzywater · 23/05/2009 18:34

Thankyou was calming down a bit and took ds a hot chocolate and biscuit upstairs .
Then DH came back and reminded me he had cooked for me today (beans on toast then some chilli from a tin ) and I flipped again and reminded him of the meals I cook at least 5 times a week from scratch .

I honestly feel like I am going to explode in my head and my body .

Hmmm, I remember my midwife saying that she'd lost count of the number of times her ladies had had huge almighty rows with their DP/DH just before they went into labour.... Fingers crossed for you, have a nice bath and hope it all kicks off soon

MamaMuesli · 23/05/2009 18:45

definitely a bath

PolkSaladLucie · 23/05/2009 18:46

Just remember it's not in your interest to get stressed. Try and curl up in bed with a nice book. If you are in early labour, the best thing to do is eat and sleep, as you don't know when you'll next get a chance...

misscreosote · 23/05/2009 18:47

Sorry, just read that back - I meant I hope labour kicks off soon, not a row!

cupcakesinthesnow · 23/05/2009 18:50

The day before I had both ds's I had what felt like the worst PMT ever. I was a total witch and felt like I was deranged.

I bet you have the baby very soon

Pippinella · 23/05/2009 18:53

I was in a massive strop with everyone around me the day before I had my DD!

Hope its not too long for you now x

Fizzywater · 23/05/2009 19:02

Thanks I do feel totally irrational and achey also like cupcake said deranged .

Going to get in bath in a while and then bed think I am better off away from people .

I do remember with DD I went a bit cavewoman and locked myself in the bedroom for a full day before I went into labour I just wanted to potter and organise things alone .

When i was a week overdue i rowed with my husband after accusing him of having an affair (he wasn't!!); took the dogs out for a walk and burst into tears when anyone asked me about the baby; came home and spent hours on my hands and knees (not easy!!) scrubbing my kitchen floor....yes i did go into labour that night and can laugh now when i realise my totally irrational behaviour was due to my hormones!!!..good luck x

shellmc · 23/05/2009 19:48
