Hi ladies, probably a really silly question but is it safe to eat take away curry during pregnancy?

are the spices ok? is there any ingredients in them we should avoid?

Yes curry is fine, no spices that I know of which could affect anything. Enjoy!

I have eaten spicy curry as long as meat is cooked through. Warning however they can make morning sickness alot worse

Its not so much that it makes you more likely to be sick, its more that if you do its likely to put you off curry for the rest of pg.

Also contributes to nasty heartburn....

Agree re heartburn - have gaviscon ready but I have really craved spicy food - had a curry last night and planning many more next week when I go overdue!! xx
