ADVICE PLEASE???!!

My sister is 6 weeks pregnant and has just called me from work asking me about a bleed she had last night. She has had light spotting on a few occasions during her pregnancy so far but this time she said it was after 'heavy petting' with her husband and it was a little bit of bright red blood followed by some brown and a couple of tiny clots

Is this a sign that miscarriage is imminent? If it is is there anything she can do?

She should go to her doctor or the Early Pregnancy Unit at the hospital to get it checked out

It might not be a sign of a miscarriage i had bleeding at 10wks and a scan showed it was a small bled from the womb lining it stopped after a few days and i havent had anything since and im now 22wks

I would definately nudge her to go and see someone straight away just in case. hopefully all will be well - friends of mine have had similar and it didn't turn into m/c, but better to be seen by a medical professional...
