If so, have you found it's helped?

I did and it was an absolute miracle. I went from being so sick i couldn't even keep water down and was on the verge of having to go into hospital to feeling only slightly quesy.

I cannot emphasise enough how amazing it was.

Clearly though it did nothing for my postpartum brain and I can no longer spell

Here too - the most amazing stuff. Not sure if you can get this combination in teh UK, but blackmores are the leading brand of vitamins (I think) in Australia, and have used them to great success. Also, taking it when you wake up in the middle of the night stops you even beginning to get sick in the morning. That's how it worked for me, if I didn't get it down asap, I still felt a bit queasy.

I have almost a whole bottle left I think - if you want it? Have been wondering whether to chuck them out - I don't know anyone here who's pg at the moment.

Let me know,

J

Has not worked for me have been taking 75mg a day. How long did you take it for before it started working and how did you get it down??

sifuentes · 22/05/2009 15:50

Have been taking solgar 50mg and my multi vits which had 25.

Jackaroo · 23/05/2009 00:13

The only way I could do it was by taking it "before" I felt sick, ie when I woke up for hte loo in the middle of the night - then I would wake up more or less OK - and take some more... on this bottle it suggests taking 25mg, 3x a day to be consistent, although on gp advice I took one mroe than that.. 2 in the middle of the night.

It took a few days, but I don't remember whether it was 3 or a week. Sorry.

These tablets are also small, capsule shaped, which probably helped. I couldn't take my normal horse tablets for ages.

Thanks for that. Will give it another go. Unfortunately the middle of the night has been a particularly bad time for me but there are times that aren't so bad, i just have to over the block...
