I havn't had a miscarriage but i really felt for you and thought I would post in the hope someone else comes on. MY sil had a miscarriage and she was offered a scan. Hope you get someone with better advice soon.

How late was your period?
If you are still very early on it can be very difficult to work out what is happening.
Trying another preg test might be helpful so to see if your levels are down already

Hi jungleju

Really feel for you its so scary, I am sure everything is ok, I just cannot believe some doctors, they need a good swift (hard) kick up the arse IMO,

A lot of women get some bleeding when the embryo implants itself, some women get bleeding on and off throughout there entire pregnancy, everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.

I would though for you own peace of mind go and see another doc and asked to be sent for a scan as I think this will be the only thing that puts your mind at rest.

Do you have a rough Idea how far gone you might be?

Really hope everything is ok, and you get better treatment from another doctor.

Huge hugs and all my love an best wishes

xxXxx

Although the problem is if you have only just missed a period and are 4+ weeks , then it is unlikely that a scan would be conclusive at this early stage.
Blood tests for rising HCG would be more helpful if you are still fairly early on

Divvy · 20/05/2009 17:54

((JJ)) My advice is to take another pergnancy test, to se where you are now. Then take it from there. You could just be bleeding in pregnancy.

I am having a miscarriage as I type this, at 4+ weeks. My pregnancy tests are now showing negative, after being positive last week. I dont feel pregnant anymore, so as you do that is a good sign

Wonderwitch · 20/05/2009 18:03

Darrell, your right it might be to early for a scan, I wasn't thinking properly, god my brain

I would still though if your worried go and see another doc and get some bloods done and hopefully a more sympathetic ear and advice, good luck and thinking of you

Divvy sending you loads of hugs, you poor thing xxxx best wishes xxxx

its 5 weeks since my LMP so not far along i know scan may be too early as had that on prev pregnancy and had to wait till 6+ weeks i just thought i would have at least a bate hcg blood test! i may do another home test but that wil prob be positive even with a misscariage so i guess i either go back and ask for more test or wait a bit longer and see if bleeding settles and how i feel! thanks for all your advice and kind words!
