Pretty sure I'm not in labour, but has anyone experienced this?

I am 35 weeks, and have felt increasingly uncomfortable for the last couple of weeks - no surprise there. With DS1 I was on bed rest sort of mode for last 8 weeks with PE so wasn't so aware I suppose (or maybe I'm just tireder this time)...

Today, I have been in bed pretty much all day (lucky me), but EVERY time i've got up - food, loo, quick trip to shops, I've had a BH that just won't go away until I sit down/lie down again.

Is this just today, or will I now have them all the time until nearer the due date??

I have a hospital appt. tomorrow, so of course will ask them, but just curious, shoudl I be more interested/concerned?

Cheers,

J

Are you sure its a braxton hick and not a trapped nerve/wind or pulled muscle.

Er yes.

but thanks for replying. I was starting to feel not just unnerved, but invisible. I'll just go back to being unnerved.

oh well sorry I couldn't help hopefully someone who knows what you are going through will be along now.

Need to apologise Slushy - didn't mean to sound so terse - DS1 is v.sick, I have not slept properly for weeks (hence the day in bed) and I'm completely spooked by this - Well, I'll be seeing a doctor in a few hours, so hope that will solve the mystery.
