Shame on me, I should know better, this being my second pregnancy.
As some of you may have seen on other threads I have posted on, I have been worrried about not showing despite being nearly 18 weeks pg - and 2nd pg.
BUT when I tried on some quite tight -fitting mat clothes at lunchtime today, I looked at my profile and was pretty sure I could see a slight protrusion from just under my (fecking massive!! ) boobs.
I thought you were supposed to show in the lower abdomen at first.
Sorry, am probably talking bollocks, but can anyone please help?

yes that's me too. i'm only 15 weeks, 2nd dc. i'm not showing yet but am quite 'hard' just under my bust, i guess from everything pushing upwards.

baby may be far back I know that some people never show bumps come in all different shapes and sizes.

Both times i started to show from just under my boobs, in the manner of a deflated beach ball being sellotaped to my entire tummy and slowly pumped up over 9 months. Never crept upwards from pubic bone like it was supposed to, just started all over and grew outwards, if you know what i mean...

In the end, for both, i had the biggest beach ball bump... from behind i still had a perfect in-at-the-right-place waistline and you'd never have known i was pregnant. But turn around and it was laughable how huge and sticky out my big round bump was!

Incidently both times i had boys.... do you know what you're having? Will you find out at 20 wk scan? High bumps are supposed to be boys aren't they? (even though its prob all twaddle).

I was thinking the same thing today . I'm 13 weeks with my second and went into stretchy trousers this week. The baby is only just rising out of the pelvis, so no proper 'bump' but some serious...well, podge, has appeared from under the bust, making look like I'm about 20 weeks .

I can only assume that it's constipation related!

Mine is the same. Very much an 'up top' bump at 31 weeks. Can't even see it if i'm sitting down though

alana39 · 20/05/2009 08:25

I have the same, and it just appeared pretty much overnight at 15/16 weeks (3rd pg). I saw your post about no bump Gateau so glad there's finally something to see!

Gateau · 20/05/2009 08:51

Thanks everyone for your reassuring comments. I'm just glad there is 'something' there that makes me look kind of pregnant and not just a little porker.
No Bigus, not finding out sex at next scan, but I think we're having another boy.

I have the opposite, my bump is so low at 32 weeks I have to sit in a very unladylike fashion with my legs a mile apart just to sit up straight. When I go to the loo it actually touches the loo seat in the middle!it's huge & most uncomfortable.I wish mine was higher!

happyjules · 23/05/2009 00:39

I have just done fat for 7 months twice. Kind on the back for me but hidious for heartburn. Good luck

mrswee · 24/05/2009 19:44

Mine is the same, I have a huge bump under my outrageous 38G!! boobs and less so around my abdomen.... though growing there now.
I think what has happened with mine is the baby bump has pushed all my 'extra layers of fat' up the way to form a false high bump... I know the baby is sitting well below where the main bump is!
