How many of you fell pregnant through the withdrawl method?

This is the only form of contraception that we use and we never have sex during my ovulation week.

It worked for us both times before we had both our children.

This month we had sex a few times around my ovulation using the withdrawl method because we do not mind if I fall pregnant but not exactly trying iykwim. We will start ttc properly in a few months.

I am really interested to know how many of your babies were conceived this way?

It is actually not as easy as I use to think to fall pregnant, most of my friends spent 6mths - 2 years trying to conceive.

Plus I read somewhere that male sperm are faster swimmers but die sooner than females so if you conceived using the withdrawl method are you more likely to have a boy?

So please tell if you did fall pregnant this way and if you had a boy or girl.

You are right if he didnt want baby he should use a condom. we both have responsibility for what happened 50-50. and l know that i havnt been perfect myself, i have done a mistake too. B ut not like his. AT least we could both be mature and talk about the baby.

As for his own family, yes he comes from a good family-we both come from traditional families and cultures. he has father and his father seemed nice to be honest. because when i called his home and spoke to his mum and she told me that maybe i slept with other men and she called me a name about my coutry, his dad shouted at her 'shut up.don't call the girl this name, she is upset' and then he took the phone and said to me 'come on sweetheart, don't cry, we ll sort it out, i ll speak to him'. But i was too shy to speak to him and didn't know if he plays a game. so i didn't speak.

As for the other stuff, you are spot on! He is going to miss out. it is not first time. he had wife and child and lost them and he wasvery sad for not see his son. And now he is loosing his other child too. doesn't make sense.

maybe he is one of those people who dont want something when is there, and only want it when they cannot have it. when i didnt want him he was like crazy to have me. maybe the same with his children. i dont know...

I'd keep away from him altogether if I were you. How many weeks pregnant are you? 27ish?

am due n aug 23 and as it gets closer it becomes more scary

only few but i dont want to talk much in details about all this. it is different on internet, i dont know why. my sister knows little about my health, not all the details because i dont want to panick her, she has hasband and a child to look after, but if i get worst then i ll tell her and she ll come. at least when i have the op.

yes i have details for places like gingerbread, surestart,mn, netmums and i will try to meet up after the baby is born.

The first time myself n my partner properly slept together was the"withdrawel" method. And 1st time we slept together was when we conceived. I am thankful that we are both in love and very very happy.
We are expecting a girl in October!

I'm 28 weeks pregnant with a girl after using withdrawl we were planning to start trying after xmas but it happened before. We fell pregnant straight away with our last girl too.
