telephone assessment before booking in appointment?

Hi Guys,
I called to arrange my booking in appointment this morning and the lady told me that the hospital im going to does telephone appointments for assessment before they book you in...this is my second pregnancy same hospital but didn't have this last time. Has anyone else had a telephone assessment before booking in? If so what will they ask me? Just want to be prepared otherwise i'll be a stuttering nervous wreck lol Thanks for reading

I haven't had one, but asked a couple of colleagues and one of them had something that might be similar - she said they asked for info like your dates so they could arranged things at the right time like scans / screening) and gave her information about nuchal scans etc. that she would have to arrange privately. Obviously it might be something different but that would sound like a sensible way to do things - better than our GP receptionist who tried to make me wait for 14 weeks for a booking appointment by which time it would have been too late to arrange any of these things if I wanted them!

Thankyou for asking around for me! Great so i have an idea of what to expect. I also had to wait until 14 weeks last time!
