Bikini shopping whilst pregnant is sooooo depressing! :(

I have just had a very stressful shop.

I tried on about a million bikinis in 3 different sizes ( to accomodate my huge, enormous boobs). Needed different size bottoms to tops.

Then I had to look at my stretch marks, unwaxwed bits, pasty skin, muffin top and squishy bum.

I was wearing my pink converse while trying everything on so that really added to the look . I couldn't be bothered to take them off aswell as everything else.

Anyway whilst paying at the tills I felt very dodgy and nearly fainted. Had to sit down with head in my lap.

Poor you, bikini shopping is not great at the best of times, let alone when preggers!

Thanks!

Imo you always look so much worse in the changing rooms than on holiday. At least on holiday others are wearing as little as you. Except lots of them look taut, tanned and fab...

Just showed them to dh and he thought one of them was a bit busty....that's because my boobs are like heads.

Err why don't you buy a one-piece then? Surely more flattering to most people (myself included!)

hippyme · 14/05/2009 19:43

I know how you feel just bought a one piece swimsuit and I didn't realise how much fat my a**e and thighs seem to have obtained... and don't get me started on the cellulite/varicose veins that I am positive weren't there before i was pregnant.

Feeling like a no waisted dumpy right now! So don't worry I know your pain!

Grapefruitmoon I have a nice one peice I wear when I'm not pg, but it doesn't fit.

I also don't mind my body from my tummy button up so a bikini top is ok. I'd rather my boobs were smaller though.

It's the whole shopping experience that is so stressful. But it's over now!
